Allianz combination with stable premiums for employees and benefits in the top group: reimbursement above the maximum rates of the fee schedule, dental cover at 100 percent and no deductible.
Data as ofJuly 2026, source: plan terms and our advisory practice
Why this plan is in our selection
The Allianz combination of GSB70, GSUB90, GSUB100 and GSZ100 is in our selection for employees because it combines two things that rarely come together: a benefit level in the top group and a reimbursement practice that leaves little room for dispute when you claim. The design is clever. The main plan GSB70 works with a percentage deductible, and the two top-up plans GSUB90 and GSUB100 remove it completely. The module GSZ100 takes care of dental cover at 100 percent. We rate the premium history of Allianz at 8 out of 10 points, which is more reliable than average. The starting premium is among the higher ones on the market. If you choose this combination, you pay for substance rather than a teaser price, and that is exactly why we recommend it in our advice whenever benefits come before price.
01
Dental cover without a percentage deduction
At Allianz the dental module is optional, and in our combination it is at the highest level: the GSZ100 reimburses dental treatment, dentures and implants including bone grafting at 100 percent, even above the maximum rates of the fee schedule for dentists.
02
Health services included
Allianz adds extensive health services to the insurance cover, from help finding a specialist to digital offers. Health apps approved as medical devices are reimbursed at 100 percent, and with a prescription also beyond the statutory directory.

Deductible: how the four plans work together
⌄

+ GSUB90 (top-up plan)

No-claims refund
⌄
If you submit no bills, you get money back. Allianz combines a guaranteed lump sum with a performance-based refund, and preventive care does not count against you.
Guaranteed lump-sum payment
10% of the annual premiums after a claim-free year
Performance-based refund
1.2 monthly premiums after 1 year, 1.8 after 2 years, 2.4 after 3 claim-free years

What you should know
!
The premium is above the market average. If price is your main criterion, you will find cheaper combinations with leaner benefits.
!
The dental benefit limits cap dental benefits in the first three years at €1,000 to €4,000. If you plan larger dental work soon, you should factor this in.
!
The combination includes neither a simplified right to switch to higher-level plans nor an option right. The statutory right to change plan under § 204 VVG of course still applies.
!
Krankentagegeld must be added separately and belongs in every calculation for employees.
!
A strong plan only pays off if your application is accepted cleanly. If you have pre-existing conditions, we recommend an anonymous risk enquiry before you apply.
Who this plan suits
The combination suits employees above the JAEGJAEG · JahresarbeitsentgeltgrenzeThe annual income threshold in Germany. Employees who earn more than this per year may leave statutory health insurance and switch to private health insurance.More about JAEG → who put benefits before price and see their health insurance as a long-term decision. It is also one of the stronger options in our selection for families, from the premium-free Kindernachversicherung to a companion in hospital.
It is less suitable if the monthly premium is the deciding criterion or if you only want basic cover at the level of statutory health insurance. For these cases we show you better alternatives from our comparison in our advice.
Premium development at Allianz: A plan is only as good as its calculation. We show the adjustments of past years transparently by year and plan.
The GSB70 is the main plan for outpatient and inpatient benefits. It works with a deductible of 30%, which the two top-up plans GSUB90 and GSUB100 reduce to zero step by step. The GSZ100 takes care of dental cover at 100%. This modular logic makes the combination flexible: if you deliberately want to carry a deductible, you leave out a top-up plan and lower the premium.
Does my employer contribute to this plan?
⌄
Yes. As a privately insured employee you receive the employer contribution of half your premium, up to the statutory maximum. The contribution applies no matter which plan you choose.
Can I adjust the combination later?
⌄
Yes. Within Allianz you can switch to similar plans using the right to change plan under § 204 VVG, and you keep your ageing reserves in full. However, the combination has no simplified right to switch to higher-level plans, so the benefit level should fit from the start.
What happens if premiums rise?
⌄
Premium adjustments are part of how private health insurance works. What matters is their long-term size. You can find Allianz's specific adjustments by year and plan in our overview of premium adjustments. If an increase is large, we check plan optimization with you.
How is our rating calculated?

The five key figures come from our ongoing plan analysis. They are based on the plan terms, the published premium histories and our experience with claims handling from advisory practice. The rating is our professional assessment, not a ranking by a testing institute.

Switching to private health insurance is probably not advisable for you.
From the age of 55, admission to private health insurance is often possible only with restrictions. A late switch can also mean higher premiums.
It matters to us that a switch pays off for you in the long run. That is why we do not recommend a consultation when your answers already show that the conditions are rather unfavorable.
